The Burg Wheelers Age Tests on the Road and Track also continue, the aim being to cover a distance of 30 kilometres within your age (in minutes). Our list of “Youngsters” so far is Simon, Carl, Dale, Willem, Suben, Leon, Sean, Jill, Capt Cornel, Kieron, Craig M and Grant. One Hour Track TT Challenge.
July is also the month for our latest Roadie/Track adventure – the One Hour Track TT Challenge, the aim being to ride as far as you can, non-stop, in an hour. (Strava Total Moving time around the track, no neutralised stopping for resting.) Once again there is a handicap system as per the table below, and you can ride solo or in a group.

A Group Road Ride. Marcel, Spha and Willem cycled 165km to the coast (scenic route) on a sunny yet windy Saturday.
B Group Road Ride. Carl and Cornel cycled 100km to Comrades Wall (Drummond) and back at an easy pace, followed by needlessly excessive nutrients at the Bean Tree Café afterwards.
